The Naples Lions Roller Hockey travel team
was created to give the students in our clinics game time experiences. It will
not only help improve their understanding of the game and their skills but also
offer them a life experience of travel and interactions in different environments. We have also been in
contact with others outside our area that are willing to travel to compete
against us. If you have a Roller hockey travel team and are interested in scheduling
games please contact us. In their first year of existence the Naples Lions
captured the gold in the Ft. Myers summer league. Players for the Naples Lions
Travel team are selected from our camps and clinics.
Pro Elite Hockey is putting together our Pro
Elite Hockey, Naples Lions Travel teams for the 2013 season. We are planning on
four division teams consisting of 14U, 12U, IOU and 8U. These teams will
compete at the Ft. Myers, FL. Skatium as well as our east coast rink in Weston
FL. All Pro Elite Hockey, Naples Lions team players are selected from
participants enrolled in our Pro Elite Hockey clinics or camps. Our last 2 day
weekend trip to Key West resulted in a Gold Medal for the Naples Lions. The
trip started with the Key West Express boat ride from Ft. Myers and ended on
beautiful Key West Florida( view the photos on our Facebook page). That
followed up a summer league gold medal from last year’s travel team.
